Sicilian Defense: Grand Prix Attack
Main Line
1. e4 c5 2. Nc3 Nc6 3. f4
Overview
An anti-Sicilian system where White plays for a kingside pawn storm with f4-f5 + g4 + h4. The opening earned its name from the 1980s British Grand Prix tournament circuit. Modern theory uses 3.Bb5 (instead of 3.f4) to weaken Black's pawn structure before the storm starts.
